Neutral Politics is a news desk that posts short verified items on Instagram at @theneutralpolitics and keeps the longer text here.

The promise on the masthead is the working rule: a story needs at least two independent sources, and it does not carry a party line. Allegations stay labelled as allegations. The same text is offered in English and in Hindi.

A post is made in four steps. A story is found. It is checked against two outlets that are not the same group. A short video or carousel is posted on Instagram. This site then holds the headline, the sources and the date, so the item can be found after it leaves the feed.

The desk is accountable for what is published. Corrections are listed in public. The site does not sell reader data, and this version does not run ads.

This About page is the working text for the first version of the site. Names of individual editors can be added before a public launch.
