iPhone Duo delivery slips to 2027

This note is verified. The Apple India page for iPhone Duo was read at 1:06 pm IST on 17 October 2026, and the same prices were still on that page at a recheck at 12:19 pm IST on 18 October. Digit, by Ayushi Jain, updated 17 October, and Business Today, by Aryan Sharma, timed 10:01 pm IST on 16 October, were read in full at the 17 October check. The 12:19 pm recheck also opened a Times of India page. Bloomberg was not read directly. The quote below is taken from Digit. The reel was posted at 12:25 pm IST on 18 October. Its hashtags include NPNow.

The caption calls iPhone Duo Apple's first foldable phone. On Apple's India buy page it is listed for pre-order, available from 23 October. The prices on that page are ₹2,99,900 for 256 GB, ₹3,24,900 for 512 GB, ₹3,74,900 for 1 TB, and ₹4,49,900 for 2 TB. The colours on the page are Star White and Night Sky. Digit says the India prices match the store. The recheck at 12:19 pm IST again saw those four prices and the line that the phone is available from 23 October.

Pre-orders opened on Friday 16 October. Digit says they opened on Friday evening, and that in less than an hour the online delivery dates slipped into next year, to late January, for all configurations. Business Today says the dates moved from October to December and January within minutes, and that estimates for home delivery in India ran out to 23 January. The package groups The Times of India with those two reports on the same two points: pre-orders opened on 16 October, and online delivery dates slipped to late January 2027. This note does not quote a Times of India sentence. The recheck records that the page returned, not a separate line of text.

Digit reports a statement Apple gave to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman: demand has been "nothing short of extraordinary", and Apple will continue accepting orders online. That wording is Digit's report of the Bloomberg story. This desk did not read Bloomberg itself. Apple has not shared order numbers.

The date is not the same for every buyer. Digit says some users report a delivery on 23 October, which is also the day Apple's page says the phone is available, including in stores, in Digit's account. The caption says the delivery date depends on the model and on the time of the order. Both of those points stay. A late-January online date in the reports is not a finding that every order waits until then.

What the store page shows is a pre-order, a 23 October availability line, and four prices. What Digit and Business Today report is a slip in online delivery dates toward late January 2027. What Apple has not given is a number of orders.
